![]() ![]() Maybe one day you will be able to slap down some cold hard cash to get one, who knows? But right now? It is grind to show your are worthy, so do or do not.Latest updates What's new in version 1.8.635 Do not take my words as golden, because I am not a developer so do not have any insight beyond any other long term player, but my bets are is that once there is some real point to having a capship (other than bragging rights of course - and let us face it, pointing out you have no life is hardly something to brag about) then they will possibly be more interesting (and maybe even easier) to get. ![]() I suppose they get a bit of use for commodity farming, and the odd confrontation but beyond that there really is no game play aspect for them. I mean, there are stations in every system, and players who tend to grind for this stuff tend to be able to dock at them all. I suppose having 500+ capships floating about is already bad enough, once you realise there is no real content for them. People were all like "we do not care we need capship NAOW" so they were added in their current state, with the requirements they currently have to make sure only those who are really serious about having one can get access. Like said above, the cap ships were added due to community pressure, and are not yet a finished product. For example, an external hull assembly requires manufacturing several internal bulkhead assemblies, and these internal bulkhead assemblies require manufacturing several reinforced bulkheads, and these reinforced bulkheads require manufacturing several fused composite plating and fusiform silksteel alloy. Also, there are several "tiers" to making the capital ship, meaning that you will need to manufacturing lower-tier items that feed into higher-tier items. ![]() You need to farm thousands of drops from bots, mine thousands of cu of ore, and haul thousands of cu of commodities. Manufacturing a capital ship is difficult. More information about those stations here: Getting access to a station usually requires the help of an organized guild. You need at least combat 5 to accept the required manufacturing missions, and at least trade 9 to purchase a Behemoth XC, which you will need to move some of the parts.įinally, most of the required manufacturing missions are only available at certain conquerable stations. The "easiest" capital ship to manufacture is the Goliath class freighter. There is no "easy" way to get a capital ship. Maybe when you did this trick you had already mined some ore and spat it into space, but I know 100% the way I describe it is correct. This is the only shortcut I know that works. ![]() When the counter stops, either find another roid made of one of the other ores you bought, or go back to the station and repeat above. You can do them in any order, buy all the ores (not the normal stations, that wont work as that isn't mined stuff) from Latos N-2, and sell it back to the station, repeat a few times and then go AFK mining on a roid made up of some of the ores you sold. You can now go and buy 1000 carbonic ore from latos n2, and sell it (or scoop from another player, like you say) and then you will notice, when you have sold 1000 of them, the badge stops counting the rest until you go and mine some more carbonic. When you mine a certain ore, that ores flag gets increased (say, carbonic), so you mine 1000 carbonic ores, your mission flag for this badge now has 1000 carbonic mined (but it still does not count as you don't have 1000 sold). the way the mission works is with flags set. You still have to have mined the ore at some point hellcat. ![]()
